Terms and conditions

1. Scope and provider

The provider is Flexyoga, Rahel Jacot, Alemannengasse 4, 4058 Basel (referred to below as Flexyoga). These terms and conditions apply to all services of Flexyoga: personal training, duo sessions, class packages and company training. By booking a class you accept these terms.

2. Intro call and booking

1. Every cooperation starts with a free, no-obligation intro call of about 15 minutes. It takes place preferably online via Microsoft Teams, or on request by WhatsApp or by phone on the business number.
2. You arrange appointments through the booking page, by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp. A booking becomes binding once Flexyoga confirms it.
3. Before the first class you fill in a health questionnaire and confirm these terms.
4. Participation is possible only for persons aged 18 and over. There are no exceptions.

3. Services, prices and payment

1. A class lasts 60 minutes. The studio rate is CHF 120 per hour, regardless of the number of participants. In a duo session this amount is split, each person pays CHF 60.
2. Mats, blankets and blocks are provided by Flexyoga and are included in the price.
3. Single classes are paid on site by TWINT or in cash. All prices are in Swiss francs.
4. Class packages: the 5-class package gives 5 percent, the 10-class package 10 percent off the hourly rate. Packages are paid in advance, by TWINT, in cash or by bank transfer to CH24 0900 0000 1538 8138 7, in the name of Rahel Jacot, 4058 Basel. They are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Classes not used expire after that period without refund. A package is a credit for individual classes, not a membership, and lapses without notice. It is personal and not transferable to third parties unless Flexyoga expressly agrees.
5. Company training for groups of up to ten people is quoted individually according to effort, group size and travel, and invoiced after delivery. Payment term 30 days.
6. Flexyoga may adjust prices. Packages already purchased remain valid at the price paid.

4. Cancellation, rescheduling and lateness

1. You can cancel or reschedule an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed start. The time the cancellation arrives, by booking page, e-mail, WhatsApp or phone, is decisive.
2. In the case of a later cancellation or no-show, the class is charged in full or deducted from the package, because the time is reserved for you.
3. If you are late, the class still ends at the planned time. The price remains unchanged.
4. If Flexyoga has to cancel a class, for instance because of illness, you receive a replacement appointment. If no replacement is possible, the class is refunded or credited back to the package.
5. In cases of hardship, such as accident or longer illness with a medical certificate, Flexyoga will look for a fair solution.

5. Health, personal responsibility and liability

1. Participation is at your own responsibility and based on your own assessment of your physical condition. Yoga does not replace medical treatment or therapy.
2. You disclose health limitations, injuries, operations, pregnancy and medication affecting your ability to move before the class. If in doubt, clarify this with a doctor beforehand.
3. You only perform exercises you feel confident with and stop when in pain. Instructions from Flexyoga are to be followed.
4. Flexyoga is liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence and for personal injury, property damage and financial loss arising from the self-responsible performance of the exercises is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
5. No liability is accepted for valuables brought along. Accident and health insurance is your own responsibility.

6. The room and conduct

1. The yoga room is located in a private property. Please arrive on time.
2. Come in comfortable sportswear or change on site. Practice is barefoot or in socks.
3. All equipment is provided by Flexyoga. Please treat it with care. You are liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
4. If you have symptoms of illness, please cancel. In that case the charge under section 4.2 does not apply, provided the cancellation is made before the start.

7. Photographs and recordings

Recordings during classes are only made with the express consent of everyone present. Publication, for instance on the website or social media, only takes place with prior written consent of the persons concerned. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

8. Data protection

Personal data is processed exclusively to perform the agreement. Details are set out in the privacy policy.

9. Changes to these terms

Flexyoga may adapt these terms. The version published on this page at the time of booking applies. In the case of material changes, Flexyoga informs you in advance.

10. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Basel, unless mandatory statutory provisions require a different forum. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
